Located approximately 26 miles east of Tacoma and about eight miles north of Enumclaw, many individuals have found this area to be secluded and convenient. Minutes outside of town (on the northern edge of Black Diamond), locals can shop at various popular retailers. Just north of the Black Diamond Natural Area and Henry's Ridge Natural Area, pick up everything you need at Safeway, Fred Meyer, and other essential stores. Be sure to stop into specialty stores such as Black Diamond Antiques and The Smoke House and More butcher shop in town.

Residents bask in the stunning surroundings at Black Diamond Natural Area, Flaming Geyser State Park (which features two geysers), Green River Gorge State Park Conservation Area, and Henry's Ridge Natural Area.
